Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Commissioning Project Engineer to lead end-to-end commissioning of data center and critical infrastructure systems in the AMER-East region. You will plan and execute tests for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, analyze performance data, and resolve issues with cross-functional teams. You'll ensure compliance with AWS standards and safety codes, manage vendor coordination, and document commissioning results.

Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning of AWS data center and critical infrastructure systems across the AMER-East region
- Develop and execute test plans for mechanical, electrical, and control systems to verify performance and reliability
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause resolution with design, construction, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with AWS standards, safety codes, and industry best practices throughout project lifecycle
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to align schedules, deliverables, and quality expectations
- Document commissioning results, produce reports, and maintain accurate technical records
- Support continuous improvement of commissioning processes, tools, and standards based on lessons learned
- Provide technical guidance during design reviews and field changes to optimize reliability and scalability
- Contribute to risk assessments, readiness reviews, and acceptance criteria before facility handover
- Collaborate in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment to meet aggressive timelines and high operational standards
