Job DescriptionFibertek is seeking motivated summer interns who are ready to kickstart their career and build real-world experience. The ideal intern for Fibertek will be enthusiastic and collaborative. The interns selected will receive mentoring and training opportunities from knowledgeable and seasoned professionals.
ESSENTIALJOB DUTIES:
- Board level design (Schematic, layout, and documentation)
- Board level testing and troubleshooting
- Perform other tasks set out by supervisor as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Altium or similar CAD software preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
Salary Range: The base salary range for this position is $20-$25/hour. This range reflects the compensation Fibertek reasonably expects to offer for this role. Placement within the range will depend on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s experience, education and training, key skills, and relevant market and business considerations.
