Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 per year

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and strategic Permanent Director of Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel accounting, financial forecasting, budget preparation, and strategic planning. Responsibilities- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the organization s strategic goals.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Manage monthly local state sales and hotel revenues, ensuring accurate recording and reporting.
- Coordinate annual audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement in the finance department, implementing new processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel accounting, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience with financial forecasting, budget preparation, and financial report creation.
- Proficiency in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheets.
- Experience with managing monthly local state sales and hotel revenues.
- A strong history of coordinating annual audits and maintaining compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Exceptional strategic planning skills, with the ability to drive financial success and growth.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and drive performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- A bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A CPA or other relevant certification is highly desirable.
