Position Overview
Four Inc. is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support the implementation of a new ERP system and special projects. This internship is designed for students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in accounting and finance while learning how a dynamic organization operates.
The intern will work closely with team members to build foundational skills, gain professional exposure, and contribute to day-to-day activities in a supportive, collaborative environment.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with three days per week in the office at Four Inc.'s headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, and two remote workdays.
Essential Functions
- Support the implementation of the Workday ERP system
- Assist with basic tasks such as data entry and organizing financial information
- Assist with preparing simple reports and spreadsheets
- Conduct basic research as needed
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Finance and Accounting operations

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university
- Interest in accounting, finance, business, economics or a related field
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and ask questions
The work is generally sedentary and performed in an office or remote setting; however, some travel to government or partner sites may be required. The position may require:
- Ability to work on a computer for extended periods
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
- Occasional lifting or carrying of items (typically under 40 lbs)
- Ability to communicate clearly in virtual and in-person settings
