Position Overview
Director of Real Estate Analysis is responsible for building and leading support strategies to optimize real estate processes and initiatives from conception to implementation.
Essential Functions (Other Duties As Assigned)- Manage the real estate market analysis / financial team to ensure optimal efficiency of department processes and responsibilities
- Oversee production of capital project approval decks
- Capital project return analysis
- Oversee site forecasting and market analytics
- Development strategy analysis
- Competitive analysis and competitive activity reporting
- Capital reporting and analysis
- Real estate portfolio reporting and analysis
- Evaluate financial statements, historical performance, and projected financials of potential acquisition targets as well as assessing the potential synergies and risks associated with each transaction
- Oversee the maintenance and advancement of financial models to continue to assess the impact of potential mergers and acquisitions on the company's financial performance and key metrics
- Oversee the distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports for management
- Update key financial metrics in the development CRM for pipeline and open sites
- Succinct and persuasive communication to senior leadership of real estate based on data driven analysis
- Participate in weekly internal deal‑approval meetings
- Other duties as required
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or general business
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in high volume multi‑unit retail, consulting for mergers and/or acquisitions or accounting
- Highly proficient in financial modeling and forecasting
- Advanced level abilities in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to shift priorities efficiently and meet deadlines
- Team player mentality; ability to develop interpersonal relationships
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the car wash industry is a plus but not required
- Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
- Highly motivated, responsible and resourceful
- Extended periods of sitting
- The work environment is typical of an office setting; the noise level is usually quiet
- Travel requirements will range from 25%–40%, but typically won’t exceed 25%
