F&A Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Information Review and Release Analyst – Senior to support a dynamic Intelligence Community customer in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will manage and review a variety of information review and release cases, conducting detailed research and analysis in accordance with applicable requirements, including Executive Order (EO) 13526, the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR) programs.
The successful candidate will serve as a case manager and reviewer for multiple case types, including FOIA, litigation, appeals, and other information review and release requests. This individual will be responsible for researching requests, preparing correspondence, coordinating with stakeholders and other government agency (OGA) counterparts, and supporting accurate and timely final response and release decisions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple complex cases while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an assigned caseload of information review and release requests from initiation through final response.
- Review and thoroughly research documents and information in accordance with FOIA, PA, EO 13526, EOMDR, and other applicable policies and directives.
- Serve as a case manager and reviewer for FOIA, litigation, appeals, and other request types.
- Analyze and evaluate documents to support appropriate review, release, withholding, or redaction decisions.
- Research prior requests, decisions, and related cases to ensure consistency and support current case determinations.
- Develop and prepare requester correspondence, including response letters, initial response letters, Requests for Information (RFIs), and other case-related communications.
- Collaborate with government personnel, team members, and other government agency (OGA) counterparts regarding requests and release decisions.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to obtain additional information needed to complete complex requests.
- Utilize customer-provided proprietary systems, databases, online tools, and other applications supporting the information review and release process.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure assigned cases are processed in accordance with established requirements and timelines.
- Apply sound judgment, critical thinking, and analytical skills when evaluating unique and complex cases.
- Manage competing priorities and multiple cases while consistently producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Provide excellent customer service to requesters, government stakeholders, and team members.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend creative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and workload demands.
- Perform additional or ad hoc duties as required to support the customer and mission.
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
, or - High school diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience in information review and release, FOIA, Privacy Act, declassification, records management, intelligence community support, or related areas.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with:
- Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
- Privacy Act (PA)
- Executive Order Mandatory Declassification Review (EOMDR) programs
- Executive Order 13526
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community processes, culture, and requirements.
