The HR Shared Services Team is seeking an HR Shared Services Representative to join our team. This Hybrid position is in Herndon, VA. The selected candidate will maintain detailed knowledge of HR service areas and answers employee inquiries pertaining to HR programs, processes, procedures, and communications. Responds promptly to employee inquiries and requests, including employment verifications, document retrieval and general HR assistance.
Additional background and experience required for this role includes but not limited to:
- Facilitate and present onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring completion of necessary documentation, orientation coordination, and system set-up.
- Serves as an escalation point for shared services support as needed.
- Organize file and manage both physical and digital employment records in compliance with company policy and data privacy regulations.
- Provide support for various HR functions and projects as assigned, maintaining confidentiality and delivering a high standard of service.

- Implements and administers human resources programs, policies, and practices in a service center/shared services HR model.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with a high school diploma.
- 1+ years of experience with a BA in a related field.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish collaborative working relationships with others.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing business needs, taking on unforeseen assignments in addition to regular workload.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent computer skills, e.g., MS Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
- Confidently facilitate weekly new hire orientation, communicating key messages with clarity and precision.
- Workday HRIS experience and I-9, E-Verify related skills desired.
- Prior Government contractor experience a plus.

$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
