Job Description:
Satair is looking for a Summer Intern
- Human Resources to join our Human Resources team based in Herndon, VA.
In this role you'll get exposure to multiple areas of our site HR team spanning across HR Operations, Recruitment, Talent & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, and other areas.

In our nation's capital you will find the Airbus Experience Center, a collection of interactive, multimedia exhibitions highlighting the extensive role the company plays in the aviation, aerospace and defense industries in the U.S. and around the world. The D.C. area is also home to our regional corporate headquarters - located adjacent to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) - it makes flying in a breeze!
Highlights:
- Participation in the Summer 2027 Intern Program:
May 17th
- August 6th 2027 - Contribute to High-Visibility HR Projects in topics such as onboarding, leadership development and safety.
- Dedicated HR team to support your development throughout the program.
- Connect with your HR team members for regular check-ins, goal setting, and continuous career feedback throughout the internship.
- Support Daily HR Operations:
Play a supportive role in the daily functions of the Human Resources department. - Facilitate engagement activities:
- Assist in planning and executing engagement activities for the HR team, focusing on leadership development.
- Assist in planning and executing engagement activities for the Environmental and Health and Safety (EHS) team.
- Contribute to High-Visibility HR Projects:
Provide support and assistance on significant HR initiatives that have high visibility within the company. - Create Deliverables for Leadership:
Utilize strong creative abilities to produce materials and deliverables intended for review by business management and the highest levels of corporate leadership.
- HS Diploma/GED and currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree at an accredited college or university. Degree in Human Resources, Business administration or related field and entering final year in college preferred.
- Ability to work in the US without current or visa need of visa sponsorship
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both independently and collectively
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and disciplines.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with internal customers, required

- Some experience using Workday or other HRIS system preferred
- Experience working with Human Resources is a plus.

- Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Required daily. 100%
- Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Required daily. 100%
