Application Developer; FSP Security Clearance

Position: Application Developer (FSP) with Security Clearance
We are seeking an Application Developer to join our team of diverse professionals supporting the Sponsor's mission. This role focuses on delivering high-quality UI/UX design, providing surge development support, and leading the office-wide accessibility program to ensure all products meet rigorous standards. Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement user-centric solutions using Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to simplify complex workflows.

• Develop and maintain web elements and interfaces using Java and modern UI frameworks (Angular, Vue, or React).

• Lead the accessibility program by establishing standards, tracking improvement activities, and ensuring compliance with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA.

• Create wireframes, storyboards, and templates to conceptualize designs and promote reusable UI/UX best practices.

• Manage project requirements via JIRA, coordinating between development teams to align visuals with operational goals.

• Provide technical surge support to development teams, identifying and resolving design roadblocks in an Agile environment. Required Experience

• Active TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly (as required by Sponsor mission)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Information Systems, or a related technical field

• 4+ years of experience in software development and UI/UX design

• Technical Proficiency in Java and at least one front-end framework (Angular, Vue, or React)

• Proven expertise in Section 508 requirements, WCAG 2.1 AA standards, and COTS accessibility integration

• Hands-on experience with wire-framing tools, Agile/Dev Ops processes, and project management

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience supporting accessibility initiatives across organizations with numerous development teams.

• Ability to recommend future UI/UX initiatives and develop enhanced testing procedures for mission-critical applications.
