Vantor is hiring a Solutions Architect for our AI/ML-powered Sentry products to serve as a product strategist for defense and intelligence customers, bridging mission needs with technical solutions. This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and the US Government Account teams to shape opportunities, drive deployments, and refine the Sentry product roadmap. Acting as the subject matter expert, the Solutions Architect leads customer engagements, proposals, and industry representation to accelerate growth in the US Government market.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor for defense and intelligence customers, translating mission needs into innovative, mission-ready solutions
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Account Leads to align customer requirements with Sentry’s capabilities, roadmaps, and deployment schedules.
  • Turn customer requirements into actionable feature requests; participate in decomp, scoping, and prioritization with Product.
  • Lead technical discussions, solution workshops, and product demonstrations to showcase Sentry’s value to customers and stakeholders
  • Provide market and customer insights to shape product development, proposals, pricing strategies, and growth opportunities.
  • Represent Sentry as a subject matter expert at customer engagements, industry forums, and conferences
  • Support business development efforts, including white papers, RFP responses, and solution strategy for USG opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and ensure Sentry is differentiated across customer missions and use cases

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are preferred but not required.
  • Government security Secret Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a relevant technology domain, with preference for AI/ML and Computer Vision.
  • Understanding of U.S. Government infrastructure and security requirements.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts related to managing cloud-based data and machine learning pipelines (e.g., AWS)
  • Experience with Dev Ops tools and automation platforms like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
  • Significant software development experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar

Preferred Skills

  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience with developing product demonstrations and proofs of concept to showcase the capabilities and benefits of solutions to potential customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with US Government customers, including those in technical and leadership positions.
  • Strong experience deploying AI/ML capabilities against large geospatial datasets, storage, access patterns and formats
  • Creative problem solver and a team player
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with remote and/or geographically distributed teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments, using frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
