We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior SharePoint Developer with Artificial Intelligence expertise
to support a federal health-focused customer. This role requires a strong background in SharePoint architecture and development combined with hands‑on experience integrating AI‑driven solutions into enterprise collaboration platforms.
The ideal candidate is not only a SharePoint expert but also forward‑thinking, with the ability to design intelligent, automated, and data‑driven solutions that enhance business processes, knowledge management, and digital collaboration across secure federal environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, customization, and administration of SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server environments.
Architect scalable SharePoint solutions aligned with federal compliance and security standards.
Develop and integrate AI‑powered capabilities within SharePoint ecosystems, including:
Intelligent document processing
Metadata auto‑tagging and classification
AI‑driven search optimization
Knowledge discovery solutions
Chatbot or Copilot‑style integrations
Build custom solutions using SPFx, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Microsoft 365 services.
Integrate SharePoint with enterprise systems, APIs, and cloud services (Azure preferred).
Implement workflow automation and process modernization initiatives.
Support data governance, content lifecycle management, and records management strategies.
Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure solutions meet federal accessibility, security, and compliance requirements.
8+ years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
Strong experience with:
SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365
SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
REST APIs and Graph API
Demonstrated experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure Functions, Cognitive Services, OpenAI services, etc.).
Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Type Script preferred).
Experience with enterprise search configuration and optimization.
Knowledge of data modeling, governance, and content management best practices.
Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience supporting federal clients.
Experience implementing AI solutions such as:
Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Machine learning‑based document classification
Generative AI integrations within collaboration tools
Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI productivity tools.
Familiarity with FedRAMP and federal security frameworks.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS‑600, PL‑900, AZ‑204, etc.).
