The Network Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering advanced technical leadership and infrastructure support for the Azure Core Networking team within Government Cloud environments. This role provides Tier 2 expertise, leading complex incident response, deep‑dive troubleshooting, and operational excellence for mission‑critical networking infrastructure across secure federal facilities. The position supports 24x7 operations and serves as a technical authority for services including Phys Net, FPN, Express Route, VPN, and advanced network services.

• 1‑2+ years of experience in network operations or technical support.

• High level knowledge of enterprise networking architectures, including advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, and secure VPN technologies, with the ability to design, evaluate, and troubleshoot complex network topologies.

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure networking services, including Express Route, VPN Gateway, and/or Virtual WAN, supporting large‑scale, mission‑critical government cloud environments.

• CompTIA Security Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with federal government cloud environments

• Proven expertise in advanced network monitoring and diagnostics, including SPAN sessions, packet capture analysis, and root‑cause investigation across hybrid and secure networks.

• Experience with network automation and scripting (Power Shell, Python, Linux), leveraging automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce recurring incidents.

• Prior experience in managed service provider (MSP) or cloud operations environment

• One or more of the following certifications:

• Azure AZ-700

• CCNA

• CCNP

• US Citizenship

• Must have valid US passport

• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance

Massachusetts,
Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
