Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager in delivering solutions to improve customer operations and to perform configuration management activities. As a member of the L3
Harris team, you will work alongside various cross-functional teams to manage requirements, update the configuration management (CM) tool, perform software builds and update the build and deploy tool (Jenkins) and update/develop procedures to ensure the mission critical readiness of projects. As a CM Specialist, you will collaborate with teams to ensure best practices are followed.
- Review the CMDB for software, site and hardware updates.
- Move software records through the baseline process.
- Support updates for the CMDB (java script development).
- Account setup and management in the CMDB.
- Update/create new Jenkins build jobs.
- Assist with updates to hardware records.
- Familiarity with requirements tools.
- Provide data for metrics reporting.
- Develop documentation for new procedures, training plans and reports.
- Leverage Dev Ops concepts and best practices to support the program.
- Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
- Travel Requirement:
Up to 10%
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Knowledge of the SDLC Lifecycle.
- Familiarity with EIA-649
- CMMI or similar certification.
