We are seeking an exceptionally bright, self‑motivated individual to source, negotiate, and execute large‑scale deals on the data center real estate team, operating on both strategic and tactical levels to support the expansion of AWS’s Data Center Network in the U.S.

• Lead deal sourcing, engagement, negotiation and execution of real estate deals, including land acquisition and leases.
• Work cross‑functionally with internal and external teams—including Legal, Design Engineering, Economic Development, Public Policy, Construction and Capacity Planning—to inform a regional real estate development strategy.
• Lead the entitlement process and jurisdictional engagement for respective transactions.
• Assist in developing site plans that deliver the best‑in‑class product consistent with market conditions while achieving the investment assumptions.
• Work cross‑functionally to develop project schedule, development budget, and track hard and soft project costs.
• Lead teams of vendors, consultants, and contractors to support acquisition, entitlements and delivery.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of AWS’s internal process and reporting.
• Travel required.

• 5+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Experience in advising and influencing executive leadership.
• Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
• Experience negotiating complex agreements with a firm understanding of legal terminology and reasoning.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
