Hybrid Edge Solutions Architect – Overview
Amazon Web Services is seeking a Hybrid Edge Solutions Architect to support our Global Government customers.
As a Hybrid Specialist Solutions Architect, you will work directly with product and engineering teams, AWS customers, and partners to integrate with AWS Outposts, AWS Local Zones, and AI Factory.
Key Responsibilities- Own the technical engagement and ultimate success of specific implementation projects.
- Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop deep expertise in AWS technologies.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on Hybrid Edge as it relates to customer applications and services.
- Provide thoughtful technical design and sensitivity to customer needs in the Defense markets.
- Lead efforts to capture and share best‑practice knowledge among the AWS solution architect community.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- Cloud Technology Certification (Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional, or Cloud Dev Ops Engineering).
- Certification in an applicable field such as A+, Net+, Sec+, CCNA, LPIC, Linux+, or AWS certification.
- Experience in data center, networking engineering, systems engineering, or construction management with a good understanding of data center technologies such as power, cooling, and controls systems.
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.

Compensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually, varying by location.
Salary includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), and is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
