Job Summary

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The Global Network Delivery Team builds and commissions network infrastructure across new AWS data center sites, driving safety, scheduling, standards and implementation, and delivering network capacity on time with zero rework.

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of new builds, coordinating structured cabling, hardware deployment, and commissioning across the AMER region.
• Lead a team of highly qualified network engineers, managing resources, schedules and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and design teams to innovate and optimize new deployments.
• Drive operational excellence in tools and processes, ensuring timely capacity delivery.
• Represent the team to senior infrastructure leadership, shaping strategy and capital efficiency.
• Manage trade‑offs among time, scope and cost, and clear blockers to accelerate progress.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• 3+ years of program management experience in infrastructure builds.
• Experience in technical management and people development.
• Proven track record managing difficult, cross‑functional infrastructure builds independently.
• Experience across multiple teams, managing programs end‑to‑end.
• Ability to manage trade‑offs: time vs. scope vs. cost.
• Experience clearing blockers, escalating appropriately and accelerating progress.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Robust technical understanding of network infrastructure and deployment processes.

• Professional certifications or military experience in an IT‑related field (PMP, CCNA, Network+, Security+).
• Functional knowledge of network design and layer 2/3 networking concepts.
• Ability to propose and execute regional or global projects.
• Experience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
