Job Overview

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a dynamic Pro Serve Account Executive (PAE) to join our Commercial Aerospace & Satellite team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will engage new and existing customers in transformative projects involving IT strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. You will partner with Pro Serve Cloud Architects, Engagement Managers, and Delivery Consultants to drive customer success and business growth.

Your focus will be on understanding and defining business outcomes for customers, building trust, identifying applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, creating proposals, and securing customer sign‑off of Statements of Work (SOW). After project launch, you will stay connected with the customer to ensure we are delivering the agreed customer business outcomes (CBO) as outlined in the SOW. Your experience selling services within the technology/consulting sector will enable you to translate technical concepts into business value for customers and demonstrate proficiency in business development, executing sales methodologies, managing CRM systems, and project management.

Performance will be measured against key metrics including revenue, billable bookings, and customer satisfaction (CSAT).

• Supporting business development efforts by engaging customers and contributing to high‑value engagements.
• Collaborating with Amazon Global Sales representatives to support a coordinated approach for key accounts.
• Contributing to proposals, supporting customer sign‑off on Statements of Work (SOWs), and assisting in successful project delivery.
• Tracking ongoing projects to support delivery of agreed CBOs and contribute to revenue potential.
• Advocating for customers while balancing AWS business objectives.

• Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategies.
• 3+ years of technology sales experience.
• Experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies.
• Experience working with the commercial space industry.

• Experience building and maintaining C‑level client relationships.
• Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making or applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience supporting commercial space procurement cycles and satellite operations.

Salary ranges for this position are listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
