Delivery Practice Manager, WWPS ProServe

Overview

This position requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen and to possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our Pro Serve Shared Delivery Team (SDT). In this role, you will manage a team of Pro Serve Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. Your IT and/or management consulting background will enable you to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.

• Build and manage a high‑performing team of Delivery Consultants.
• Collaborate with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative, forward‑looking IT strategies for customers.
• Manage practice P&L, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget delivery of customer engagements.
• Drive business development initiatives and exceed customer satisfaction targets.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learning or equivalent quantitative field.
• 5+ years of applying statistical models for large‑scale application and building automated analytical systems.
• 3+ years of managing scientists or machine learning engineers.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other scripting language.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

• Experience in client‑ or vendor‑facing roles with a focus on relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing tasks for multiple projects.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
