OverviewAs a Partner Success Specialist (PSS) within the AWS Specialists & Partners (ASP) org, you will scale AWS’s customer success methodologies across our partner ecosystem to drive measurable business outcomes and accelerate customer value realization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop strategies to align partner success initiatives with AWS long‑term growth objectives.
- Design and adapt CS CoE’s "Activate to Advocate" framework for partner implementation.
- Create partner‑specific success metrics, health scoring models, and value realization playbooks.
- Develop governance models and operational excellence guidelines for partners.
- Architect scalable approaches to measure and improve partner‑led customer outcomes.
- Contribute to the AWS Value Realization Toolkit for Partners.
- Enable partners to build and scale their customer success practices, demonstrating the impact on business model.
- Guide partners through post‑sale stages and deploy customer health frameworks and intervention strategies through partner channels.
- Build adoption, change management, and stakeholder engagement toolkits.
- Coach partners in establishing systematic approaches to value realization.
- Build feedback mechanisms to continuously evolve success frameworks based on partner insights.
- Establish mechanisms to measure and track partner‑led customer value realization.
- Drive partner‑led adoption through technical milestones and usage metrics.
- Implement value realization frameworks to meet business KPIs.
- Partner with PDMs to drive adoption of success frameworks across partner organizations.
- Collaborate with Partner Sales to accelerate consumption through systematic approaches.
- Work with Partner Development Specialists to create industry‑specific success playbooks.
- Build relationships across AWS organizations to drive program adoption and refinement.
- Influence senior stakeholders to drive organizational transformation.
- Develop business cases demonstrating quantifiable business impact and ROI of systematic partner enablement.
- 10+ years of senior customer‑facing role experience.
- 15+ years of leading complex, large‑scale IT, technical, or engineering programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
- Experience leading complex, large‑scale IT, technical, or engineering programs.
- Experience working with current technologies (especially cloud).
- Experience managing cross‑functional projects and initiatives.
- Experience working across teams and influencing teams that are not your own.
- Proven track record of implementing value realization frameworks at scale.
- Experience working with or at AWS consulting and technology partners.
- Knowledge of key technology and market trends.
- Knowledge of the software development/engineering lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Experience implementing AWS/cloud services.
- Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level.
- AWS certification(s), such as AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification, or Associate's degree or above.
- Deep understanding of cloud services and enterprise digital transformation.
- Track record of building partner capabilities and driving partner‑led growth.
Base salary range: 182, USD annually. The package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) and is determined by experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
