Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking an Advanced Computing Solutions Architect to support our Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Energy (DoE), and other U.S. Federal Government customers. This role involves designing and deploying high-performance computing, quantum computing, and custom acceleration solutions to resolve complex technical challenges. You will be expected to help customers understand how AWS advanced computing services can drive mission‑critical improvements and to develop reference architectures, white papers, and field enablement materials.

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for AWS solutions that enable advanced computing workloads.
• Design, build, and validate end‑to‑end architectures leveraging AWS HPC, quantum, and custom silicon services.
• Collaborate with specialist teams and field solutions architects to support large‑scale customer engagements.
• Produce technical content—white papers, blogs, presentations—to disseminate best practices.
• Guide customers on technology selection and implementation strategy.

• 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience with advanced compute technologies (accelerated compute, high‑performance compute, or quantum compute)
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance TS/SCI with polygraph

• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities
• Experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS
• Understanding of deep‑learning training and inference workloads and requirements for high‑performance compute, networking, and storage

The position requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Candidates must opt into a commensurate clearance for each agency they serve.
