Oracle Senior Principal Systems Analyst

Job Summary

GDIT is seeking a Senior Oracle Applications System Analyst to support and enhance the Oracle EBS R12 implementation. The analyst will provide critical day‑to‑day operations support, address issues, and implement incremental improvements to Oracle EBS and its interfaces with other systems.

• Support day‑to‑day operations of Oracle EBS R12 and related interfaces.
• Document requirements and propose solutions to increase business efficiency.
• Design, deliver, and optimize the current Oracle Financials environment for Finance and other business groups.
• Initiate and complete deployments through the Service Now platform.
• Escalate issues and resolve them with Oracle Support, including opening and driving Service Requests to conclusion.
• Document bugs, obtain fixes, and apply patches to resolve production problems in a timely manner.
• Root cause analysis and troubleshooting of system performance and other issues; recommend workarounds and long‑term enhancements.
• Work on conversion projects and data migration into the existing EBS implementation as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS and/or other enterprise systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of EBS R12 data architecture in the PA, AR, GL schemas, subledger accounting, and custom integrations.
• Experience with APIs, REST services, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Oracle Analytics, BI Publisher, SOA, Web Services, and Oracle Applications Framework.
• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance standards, and best practices for maintaining data integrity and labeling of sensitive information, CUI and PII.
• Hands‑on experience with data conversion or migration projects, particularly in Oracle ERP platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work in complex, multi‑stakeholder project environments.
• Collaborative mindset and strong people skills.

• Oracle development tools and technologies: SQL, PL/SQL, XML.
• Oracle Analytics, BI Publisher, SOA, Web Services.
• Oracle Forms personalization and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF).
• Experience with data governance and regulatory compliance.

Hybrid to Herndon, VA office; work three (3) days per week in office/customer sites as needed.

Salary range: $124,093 – $155,250.
