Description

Are you ready to lead the world’s largest organizations through a software development transformation? Are you passionate about driving meaningful business changes through technological advancements? The Gen AI Next Generation Developer Experience (NGDE) organization is responsible for building tools and services that enable AWS customers to leverage foundation models to transform how they build applications on AWS with services such as Kiro.

We move quickly, experiment, and deliver new capabilities at a rapid pace. Join the team as a Sr. WW GTM Specialist and help us drive the GTM for Kiro and our Frontier Agents.

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which drives revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest‑growing small‑ and mid‑market accounts to enterprise‑level customers including the public sector. We work backwards from our customers’ most complex and business‑critical problems to build and execute go‑to‑market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi‑billion‑dollar businesses.

As part of WWSO, you’ll provide expertise across the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative.

Key responsibilities

Within WWSO, this position is part of the NGDE Specialist Team, where you will lead the GTM plan for a particular service with a worldwide scope. You will drive the development and adoption of AWS’ agentic AI services through deep customer engagements, guiding specialists, architects, partners, and account teams, setting direction and standards for solving customer problems in your domain, and partnering with technical and business teams across AWS.

Ideally, you have a background building tools and content for developers and a strong desire to seed developer communities and programs around a technology you believe in.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic customer accounts, managing relationships and acting as a strategic advisor driving adoption of Gen AI developer tools.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and programs, including events such as Hackathons and Game Days, to drive adoption of Gen AI developer tools.
  • Build and engage with C‑level stakeholders to understand the value proposition of the developer experience.
  • Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
  • Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, and symposiums.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • 5+ years of experience with Core Cloud Technology Services, including Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking.
  • 5+ years of Go‑To‑Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Data & AI related technologies, including AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience selling enterprise software or cloud‑based applications.
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences.
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non‑technical executive audiences.
  • Experience leading complex, multi‑year initiatives that may be cross‑functional and/or span business and technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and scaling workforce development programs across large‑scale operations, forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions.
