Project Manager
As a Project Manager at Karsun, you will lead and manage development teams to deliver software solutions that meet customer requirements. Your responsibilities include planning and executing full project lifecycle, reviewing code, interacting with customers, ensuring security compliance, and developing performance plans for direct reports.
Responsibilities- Plan and execute the full project and product lifecycle from definition to closeout utilizing iterative and waterfall methodologies: project planning; risk assessment; resource management; estimating and monitoring level of effort; identifying and managing impacts to cost, schedule, quality, and scope; organizing, planning, and prioritizing team tasks; and communicating and collaborating across organizational boundaries.
- Review code, make suggestions for improvements, and lay out tasks required to meet customer requirements.
- Interact directly with the customer product owners and contributors, managers and users.
- Assess customer requirements, identifying dependencies and gaps, and developing responsive project plans.
- Work with the security team to ensure the applications are as secure as possible.
- Develop performance planning and assessments for direct reports.
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in information systems, business systems, management information systems, IT management, and/or other IT degrees.
- 10+ years of experience leading diverse technical teams, while serving as the primary point of contact for all technical matters.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project or program management certification.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Software development experience, preferably using Java, or other IT development experience.
- 5 years of experience managing both development projects and ongoing sustainment efforts that are evolving to use different systems software or technologies.
- Experience facilitating reviews with government customers to validate requirements, prioritize program backlog requirements into sprint backlogs, and validate designs.
- Professional level Agile certification, knowledge or experience as a Scrum Master.
- Ability to shift between waterfall, agile, and Dev Ops methodologies and combine/tailor multiple approaches to meet project needs.

Salary RangeThe proposed salary range for this role is $160,000 to $170,000 USD.
Clearance InformationThis position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
