Senior Assurance Solutions Architect, AWS Security Assurance Services

Job Summary

AWS Security Assurance Services team works with large enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model as they migrate to the cloud. We need an Assurance Consultant to expand the practice, educate customers on operating securely on AWS, and demonstrate that compliance goals can be achieved. The role is customer‑facing, focusing on helping customers move workloads and regulated data into the cloud while addressing risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

• Lead teams that include Amazon employees, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Define innovative compliance and risk‑management approaches that help customers understand how to move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
• Resolve security assurance questions and manage risk to achieve compliance while operating in the AWS Cloud through deep‑dive discussions, strategic presentations, and hands‑on demonstrations of automating compliance.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is a PCI‑QSAC and HITRUST External Assessor Firm. The team is a group of industry‑certified assessors who help clients achieve, maintain, and automate compliance in the cloud by linking audit standards to AWS service–specific features.

• 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities and managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
• Experience in SAP S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP, and Cloud ERP Private.
• Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies in domains such as generative/agentic AI and data & analytics.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
