Security:
Must have a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a polygraph.
- Work as part of a small test team supporting multiple software applications in varying stages of deployment (from emerging technologies to legacy systems).
- Apply modern automated testing methodologies and technologies; perform manual testing when automated solutions are impractical or not desirable.
- Collaborate with application developers to support performance/load testing as the technology stack expands.
- Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
- Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
- Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
- Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
- SME (16+ years’ experience)
- Experience with SQL queries for data validation (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)
- Expert in Selenium Web Driver
- Experience writing automated code (Java) rather than just click-and-record
- Ability to evaluate developer assignments, understand requirements, and engineer tests to cover best path scenarios and potential failure conditions
- Proficient in using an IDE (e.g., Intelli
J, Eclipse, Net Beans) - Experience interacting in a Linux environment (e.g., Bash scripting, vi)
- Experience writing test plans, cases, procedures, scripts, and scenarios
- History of both manual and automated test processes
- Ability to work effectively in a constantly evolving environment
- Ensure QA and testing approaches reference known vulnerabilities and best practices
- Conduct and report testing using repeatable processes based on industry best practices
- Maintain and update the test environment
- Strong development skills are required due to extensive automated testing
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JMeter and/or Selenium
