Lockheed Martin Space in Herndon, VA is seeking a full‑time Agile Product Owner / Requirements Engineer. In this role you will collaborate with external stakeholders and the internal software team of developers and testers to develop mission critical software used around the world. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of agile software development, software testing, and gathering user feedback.

• Collaborate with external stakeholders and internal software team of developers and testers to develop mission critical software used around the world.
• Gather user feedback, define requirements, and facilitate agile software development processes.

• Acceptable degree programs include science and technology related disciplines such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or Cyber Security.
• Applicants must be US citizens and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including obtaining a TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated CI Poly.

• Experience as Agile Release Train Engineer, Agile Scrum Master, or Agile Product Owner.
• Previous technical leadership experience on software development projects.
• Understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and processes.
• Familiarity with planning and scheduling tools and techniques and software development processes.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools such as TFS, Azure Dev Ops, Version One, or JIRA.

This position requires a government security clearance. Must be a US citizen and hold a TS/SCI clearance with Poly. The role is located at a facility that requires special access.
