Position Overview
Senior Program Management Specialist (Level
5) in Mission Operations Portfolio. Designs, builds, tests, deploys, operates, and maintains mission critical platforms and systems for commercial and government customers in Herndon, VA. 100% onsite required. 1st Shift. Travel up to 20% of the time.
- Manage oversight and execution of the program, ensuring all developments, enhancements, and upgrades of the A/V system solutions adhere to customer requirements, regulations, and Boeing policies.
- Oversee development and technical support for any customer requests, enforce Boeing Program Management Best Practices throughout the program lifecycle.
- Lead a diverse team of A/V engineers, service technicians, and IT engineers to deliver development solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Utilize an agile product‑centric methodology to manage the development activities related to presentation and visualization capabilities.
- Meet regularly with the customer to resolve issues promptly and enhance communications, establishing strategic relationships.
- Conduct Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with government personnel as required; ensure TEMs address reports and products generated by the program.
- Contribute to overall project strategy and manage complex challenges and scope changes.
- Advise and recommend candidates for employment, assist with staff performance evaluation, and apply company policies; mentor, lead, and train others.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI or FS polygraph.
- Experience requiring strong verbal and written communication skills, briefing and collaborating with management, program offices, and military personnel.
- Self‑starter with strong written and oral communication, and ability to translate technically complex issues into simple, clear concepts.
- Experience developing, documenting, and implementing processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- PMP certification.
- 5+ years of experience in A/V resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
- 5+ years of experience writing and editing documentation and deliverables.
- 5+ years of experience working within multi‑disciplined teams to resolve business‑impacting issues.
- 5+ years of experience reviewing and proposing the Integrated Program Baseline (or resource‑loaded schedule) to the government.
- 3+ years of experience in Agile Methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
- Proposal experience as Capture Manager, Section Lead, or author.
This position requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with an adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph. U.S. Citizenship is required. A security clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.

Pay Range$168,300 - $227,700
