You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts and operations managers. As a Technical Program Manager on the AWS Brick and Network Deployment (BaND) team you will lead prototype engagements, from discovery through production deployment, partnering with interior teams and external partners to define deployment trials, timelines and operational plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write effective project charters for medium to large scale projects.
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
  • Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade‑offs.
  • Provide program progress reporting on a regular basis.
  • Own end‑to‑end responsibility for the program’s execution and success.
  • Manage multiple competing projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Develop and implement scalable, data‑driven process improvement and automated solutions.
  • Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.
  • Meet or exceed Amazon’s leadership principle requirements for this role.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex technical information to executives and non‑technical leaders.
  • Experience escalating issues, anticipating and making trade‑offs, balancing business needs versus constraints and maximizing business benefit while building great customer experiences.
  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests and ensure committed work is delivered on time.
  • Experience working with fast‑moving, high‑performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments.
  • 5+ years of network engineering and deployments for large‑scale networks, including hands‑on physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking and cabling experience.
