Position Overview

The Boeing Company is currently seeking Software Developers to support the Intelligence Systems, Cobalt Charger team located in Herndon, Virginia. This role focuses on modernizing a legacy solution into a container-based microservice architecture for custom navigation solutions in demanding environments. An active U.S. Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.

• Develop software source code, unit tests, and documentation for assigned tasks.
• Participate in daily Scrum stand‑ups to report status and prioritize tasks.
• Conduct peer code reviews and checkouts to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Perform software design reviews and create tasking backlog.
• Conduct software testing and track/resolve defects.

• Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• 2+ years of experience in a CI/CD development tool chain.
• 2+ years of experience coding in C++, Java, or JavaScript.

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Experience with automated integration testing.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized applications on Kubernetes, including orchestration, scaling, and CI/CD integration.
• Experience integrating automated security scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing with ROS 2 (nodes, publishers/subscribers, services/actions, DDS).
• Experience with navigation algorithms.

Associate (Level
2): $106,250–$143,750;
Experienced (Level
3): $135,150–$182,850.

• Travel:
