Citizenship and security requirements

Must be a U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI+poly clearance; NS2 does not offer Visa sponsor ships for this role. All internal transfers require manager approval.

The SAP Application Security Consultant candidate will be responsible for leading our security and controls team in delivery and maintenance of solutions that meet client needs. The candidate should be an experienced manager who still does hands-on work and has knowledge of SAP application security to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include managing SAP applications in a cloud environment, communicating cloud security design/architecture to technical and non-technical client stakeholders, and performing on-site work due to security requirements.

Skills/Experience Requirements

• 4+ years  experience managing SAP application security for the client s SAP landscape, from development up to production.
• Design, configure, develop, and maintain SAP roles (composite and single) to align with business requirements.
• Participate in role redesign projects during upgrades or business transformations.
• Deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts for SAP S/4 HANA systems.
• Experience in application security implementation and maintenance, including minor enhancements and support pack/version upgrades.
• Troubleshoot security access issues with key stakeholders to resolve SAP Application Security errors/exceptions.
• Keep up to date with SAP S/4 HANA and other emerging security authorization concepts.
• Identify risks from application security vulnerabilities and propose mitigation solutions.
• Understanding of NIST, SOX, SOD, and SAP IT General Computer Controls and their impact on security; provide solutions to address them.
• Support, develop, and enable junior team members.
• Provide SAP security technical training to client counterparts as needed.

• BA/BS Degree required, ideally in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, or Information Technology.

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the role. The targeted combined range for this position is 131000 - 271600 USD. The actual offer will depend on factors such as education, skills, experience, scope, and location.
