Project Manager II

Job Title

Responsibilities

Review and align on requirements and deliverables as part of monthly planning and commitments.

Closely work with business, project and technical teams to align and deliver on time with quality.

Run stand-ups, other agile ceremonies and meetings as needed to make decisions based on priority.

Be part of the continuous improvement team in maturing the process and reducing inefficiencies.

Good communication to all stakeholders with the right level of details based on the target audience.

Partner with technical leads in shaping solutions and driving work estimates and end-end delivery.

Interface with Ops team in hand-off, transition as required.

Manage defects from project work and ensure closure and manage risk as needed.

Update and review project status with stakeholders as needed.

Escalate issues through the right process to draw attention and resolution.

Maintain asset repository, application interface repository and data flow mapping for applications

Maintain system context diagrams and overall business & technology flow diagrams

Assist in User Acceptance Testing and documentation

Required Skills

Highly motivated, self-driven personality with attention to details and clarity in communication

Good understanding of AWS and experience in cloud migrations

Highly versed in Scrum and Kanban methodologies.

Hands on experience in creating flowcharts, UMLs, context diagrams utilizing MS Visio

Basic knowledge of SQL queries

Hands on experience in creating presentations for management and executives

Technical background in integration, development, testing, and/or infrastructure.

Quick learner capable of understanding and implementing front-to-back solutions and performing in-depth analysis as required to resolve issues.

Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications.

Ability to develop full-scale project plans including identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path.

Ability to proactively manage change in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingencies.

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Strong familiarity with Agile project management software/tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint etc.).

Proficient with MS Office applications:
Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
