Job Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all of AWS’ global infrastructure. We support AWS data centers worldwide, overseeing the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep the cloud running. The Global Network Delivery organization is looking for a Sr. TiPM to lead quality initiatives for cabling across our AMER, APAC, and EMEA data centers, ensuring best‑in‑class installation standards and first‑time success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify defects, generate punch lists, report and create remediation plans, and address customer complaints and defects.

  • Provide timely reporting on program efforts and results.
  • Develop and manage first‑pass yield quality metrics and enforce necessary reviews.
  • Determine and execute strategies to improve quality and productivity.
  • Think outside the box to find cost‑saving solutions while maintaining or improving quality.
  • Analyze trends and implement preventative mechanisms to eliminate recurring defects.
  • Conduct training with delivery teams to ensure compliance with design standards and best practices.
  • Identify and respond to risks and high‑priority issues rapidly and effectively.
  • Travel 20–30% to review projects and coordinate with onsite personnel and contractors at AWS data centers.
A Day in the Life

As part of this team, you will collaborate with engineers and managers across the company to develop structured cabling and installation standards. You will visit data centers to verify adherence to these standards, collect lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement.

As part of AWS Infrastructure, the team prepares for, plans, and builds the data centers that comprise the AWS cloud, driving continuous improvement to provide efficient and reliable infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of data center or network capacity planning, data center or network infrastructure program/project management, or related technical experience.
