Sr. Delivery Consultant - AI​/ML, WWPS ProServe

A candidate must be a US citizen and hold an active Top Secret security clearance. This Machine Learning Engineer position is within Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (Pro Serve) and focuses on designing, implementing, and scaling generative AI and machine learning solutions for customers on AWS.

• Architect complex, scalable, and secure AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer requirements, selecting and fine‑tuning appropriate models.
• Develop, deploy, and operationalize machine learning models and generative AI applications that address real‑world business problems.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high‑value AI/ML use cases, gather detailed requirements, and propose effective strategies for implementation.
• Provide technical guidance on responsible, cost‑efficient use of AI/ML, troubleshoot throughout delivery, and apply best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor on the latest AI/ML advancements, emerging technologies, and innovative data‑driven approaches.
• Mentor and share knowledge within the organization, creating reusable AI/ML artifacts and evaluating new technologies.

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• 5+ years of experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, and analytics.
• Professional software engineering experience with full software development life cycle best practices (coding standards, architecture, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, operational excellence).
• Experience defining and creating benchmarks for assessing Generative AI model performance.
• Strong communication skills; ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or higher.

• Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
• Experience optimizing performance and managing cost in cloud environments.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales contexts.
• Experience leading large‑scale customer‑facing projects, both externally and internally.

The base salary range for this position is:

• USA, VA, Arlington – $ – $ USD annually
• USA, VA, Herndon – $ – $ USD annually

Package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
