- Design, develop, and support enterprise Data Warehouse solutions supporting both OLTP and analytical workloads.
- Architect logical and physical data models utilizing Kimball Dimensional, Inmon Normalized, and relational modeling methodologies.
- Define and implement enterprise data architecture standards, governance practices, and best practices.
- Administer, support, and optimize Greenplum, Teradata, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, and related database platforms.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Greenplum MPP Database and Data Computing Appliance (DCA) environments.
- Lead database performance tuning, capacity planning, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and high‑availability initiatives.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL and data integration solutions using Informatica Power Center, Data Stage, Ab Initio, Power Mart, Microsoft DTS, ETI, Data Junction, or similar enterprise tools.
- Develop automation and operational solutions using Python and Bash scripting.
- Support enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives utilizing Business Objects, Micro Strategy, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, Brio, QMF, and similar platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate JAD sessions, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead data platform modernization, migration, and optimization projects.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to architects, developers, database administrators, and project teams.
- Troubleshoot complex database, ETL, reporting, and infrastructure issues across enterprise environments.
- Work effectively within Linux (RHEL), Unix, Windows Server, and IBM Mainframe environments including z/OS, OS/390, MVS, and VM.
- Support SAS Analytics and advanced analytical platforms to enable enterprise reporting and decision‑making capabilities.
- Maintain documentation, architecture standards, operational procedures, and technical best practices.
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience or 12 years with a High school diploma/equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Architecture, Database Administration, Data Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Extensive experience with large‑scale data warehouse implementations and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Strong expertise in SQL development, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
- Hands‑on experience with Greenplum, Teradata, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and/or IBM DB2 databases.
- Strong data modeling expertise including dimensional, normalized, logical, and physical modeling techniques.
- Experience with enterprise ETL and data integration tools.
- Advanced Python and Bash scripting skills.
- Experience leading technical projects and working directly with business and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain or maintain the required agency clearance.
- Active Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience supporting Greenplum Data Computing Appliance (DCA) environments.
- Consulting or professional services experience.
- Project management or technical leadership experience on large‑scale enterprise initiatives.
- Experience with cloud‑based data warehouse and analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting federal government or highly regulated environments.

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
