Senior Dev Ops Engineer

AWSMSA-

Springfield, VA --or-- Herndon, VA

• Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems processing mass-scale geospatial datasets
• Dev Ops and debugging of system performance, cloud infrastructure, and geospatial datasets
• Deploy and monitor machine learning models in cloud environments, using services like AWS Sage Maker and Cloud Watch
• Advanced in Typescript, Python (Or OOP), writing and reviewing code for enterprise scale applications
• Possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment

• 5+ years of professional software development with experience at scale
• Strong expertise in distributed systems design and microservice architecture
• Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and AWS services (ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, Sage Maker, RDS, DynamoDB)
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or CDK)
• Advanced proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Type Script/JavaScript, Java, etc)
• Dev Ops:
  Monitoring (Cloud Watch, Prometheus, etc), logging, and alerting
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines

Certification: any AWS certification(s) are preferred

• Bachelor's Degree + 5 years

Degree in computer science or IT computer engineering from an accredited college or university.
