The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers’ technical requirements and business objectives. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess existing infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies. You will lead implementation, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, manage risks, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in cloud architecture.
- Experience in one of the following programming languages:
Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or
C.
- Experience with the AWS platform, web services, software development, or related technologies.
- Experience communicating technical concepts to a non‑technical audience.
- Experience building or managing big data or traditional data‑warehouse components.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience with databases (SQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis). - Hands‑on experience working on large‑scale data science or analytics projects.
- Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing, enterprise environments.

CompensationBase salary range: $98,200 – $160,000 USD annually (VA, Arlington and VA, Herndon).
