The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

In this capacity you will architect complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to each customer's needs, gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose migration strategies, and lead implementation while ensuring best practices, performance optimization, and risk management.

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices.

Location:

You are expected to work from the listed locations (or customer sites) at least 1+ days per week. This is not a remote position; you are required to be in the office or with customers as needed.

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route
  53, S3).
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

• 5+ years of IT implementation experience.
• Degree in advanced technology or AWS Professional level certification.
• Broad knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards, including HIPAA and GDPR.
• Experience in cloud computing design, development, and deployment at scale.
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments.
