BT-350 – Systems Administrator
Skill Level: Senior
Herndon, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)
Please do NOT apply if you do not have an active Poly clearance. Those without a Poly will not be considered.
Required Skills:- Demonstrated experience configuring and administrating Amazon Linux, and Windows OS
- Demonstrated experience installing and managing Apache, Tomcat and Express servers
- Demonstrated knowledge of installing and maintaining PKI certificates
- Demonstrated experience with the installation and maintenance of COTS IT products
- Demonstrated experience with OpenSSL and TLS encryption protocols
- Provide level O&M services, troubleshooting, system backup and restore, and software upgrades
- Provide hardware and virtual server build, installation, troubleshooting, O&M, system backups and restoral for the client and partners
- Provide system hardening to hosting platforms operating systems (like Linux and Windows)
- Plan, develop, and implement system security procedures to include implementing firewalls, SSL, x509, PKI certificates and system hardening (like Linux and Windows)
- Ensure patch compliance and version updates on all software up to and including middleware required by client applications
- Manage system access control and security in accordance with client security requirements
- Support other system administration functions as required by the client
- Perform all Operations and Maintenance support to the client portfolio. This support includes but is not limited to:
Providing desk side assistance as well as e‑mail assistance on solving users' day‑to‑day issues; troubleshooting application issues - Ensure the interoperability of current and future operating systems and software releases for all supported applications
