Description
US Citizen must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. The AWS Professional Services (Pro Serve) team seeks a skilled Delivery Consultant to join AWS. The consultant works closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives. The role focuses on delivering customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
The consultant will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer, collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, propose migration strategies, and guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. The consultant leads implementation, ensures best practices, optimizes performance, and manages risks during the project.
- Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
- Experience designing, planning, and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud.
- 5+ years of external or internal customer‑facing, complex and large‑scale project management experience.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience presenting technical solutions to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments.
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.
- Database experience (e.g., SQL, No
SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis). - Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python).
- Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
- Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS Data Sync.
