Overview

The SAP Configuration Analyst is responsible for supporting all facets of Maola Local Dairies® S/4

HANA implementation, including leading configuration/analysis activities for strategic business initiatives to deliver new SAP functionality. This role manages design, development, implementation, and support of system enhancements and drives optimization of SAP configuration to streamline business processes. The position also responds to user issues and requests to ensure stability, ongoing operations, and adherence to IT controls.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the definition, implementation, and support of solutions aligned with IT project initiatives.
  • Manage all required tasks through the project lifecycle:
    Define, Design, Develop, Implement, and Support.
  • Collaborate with business users, system analysts, and IT partners to align SAP solutions with business goals and processes.
  • Design, configure, and deliver high-quality solutions through system configuration that meets business requirements.
  • Develop functional specification documents and work with developers on enhancements related to interfaces, conversions, custom programs, reports, user-exits, and forms.
  • Interface with process owners to facilitate process improvement through enhanced or new SAP functionality.
  • Design, document, and implement unit, integration, and regression test plans in development and QA environments.
  • Ensure IT standards, policies, and controls are followed to meet departmental goals.
  • Develop and maintain system configuration and user access documentation.
  • Facilitate the development and delivery of training courses and required materials.
  • Support issue resolution and knowledge transfer for end users.
  • Participate in SAP initiatives, focusing on Finance, Controlling, Dairy Management, and integration with logistics modules (SD/MM/PP).
  • Perform related tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration with Finance concentration, or related field; or equivalent education/experience.
  • 8+ years of IT experience, with 6+ years in functional SAP FI and CO, including solution design, configuration, development, testing, and debugging.
  • Located in the Eastern Time Zone; preference for candidates in NC, VA, MD, or PA.
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4

    HANA in Finance and Controlling.
  • Experience with integration points and value flow between SAP FI/CO/PP/MM/SD.
  • Full cycle SAP implementation project experience.
  • Experience with interfaces using BAPI, IDOC, BDC, LSMW, and call transaction update methods.
  • Knowledge of SAP security and access controls.
  • Experience with SAP in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project).
  • Experience in business process and configuration across SAP:
    Accounts Payable/Receivable, New General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Internal Orders, Bank Accounting, COPA, Product Costing, Material Ledger, and SAP Fiori for core accounting.
  • Formal SAP Certifications (preferably S/4

    HANA) in FI and/or CO.
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Concur, and/or Signavio.
  • Experience across multiple SAP domains (SD, MM, EWM, PP, QM).
  • Experience with ALE, EDI, IDOC.
  • Project management skills or certification.
  • Experience in Product Costing and Plant Accounting.
  • Experience in dairy management, process manufacturing, or consumer products industries.
