As the National Intelligence Sector (NIS) CTO, you will be at the heart of innovation where strategic vision meets technical excellence. This is an opportunity to drive real impact by aligning business and technical strategies within the National Intelligence Sector, ensuring every proposal is not just high-quality, but transformative.
You’ll coordinate cutting-edge technologies and best practices across the CTO organization, making sure NIS stays ahead of the curve. Working closely with Sector Operations Leadership and Sector Growth Leads, you’ll forge partnerships that fuel business success. As the go-to technical expert for sector leadership, you’ll influence decisions, champion new ideas, and be the trusted focal point for all things tech.

Demonstrate proficiency and experience across a broad range of solutions, capabilities, technology products, services, and skill areas. Be knowledgeable in all, and an expert in several, including Enterprise IT, Full Spectrum Cyber, AI/ML, Managed Services, Applications, and more. Familiarity with integrating diverse solutions into complex IT enterprise environments. Track and report on future technology trends to ensure NIS remains at the forefront.
SolutionArchitect Team Leadership
Lead and manage highly technical staff, guiding technical solution strategy throughout the capture and proposal lifecycle—from early qualification through proposal submission. Contribute to GDIT win strategies and lead the development of technical win themes and solution readiness plans. Engage current and prospective customers to understand critical needs, socialize and vet solutions, and advise on strategies to shape acquisitions that achieve desired results.
Identify and select the best technical solutions and approaches to meet anticipated or actual acquisition requirements. Lead solution design and development of key artifacts, including architectural models, process diagrams, concepts of operation, staffing plans, and more. Develop unsolicited technical recommendations, collateral, and RFI/SSN responses to engage prospective customers and position GDIT to win. Collaborate with GDIT technical service areas and lines of business to bring the best technical and business strategies and solutions to differentiate GDIT.
Contribute to teaming strategies, including identifying and vetting potential partners. Develop cost strategies, LOEs/BOEs/BOMs, and associated rationale. Partner with the Growth Organization to build a collaborative, team‑oriented culture for growth.
Ensure readiness of solution and proposal support teams to prepare compelling and compliant responses to government solicitations. Lead development of technical volumes and oral presentations for proposals. Coach and advise junior solution architecture and proposal support resources. Ensure integration of technical solutions with all sections and volumes of the proposal. Review proposals and provide critical feedback to strengthen solutions and proposals.
Author technical volume introductions, key sections, and oral slides—including developing compelling graphics. Engage with program teams to bring technical innovation to current programs, address technical challenges, and develop technical roadmaps.
