Procurement Category Manager, Infra Ops Planning and Sourcing
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. As a member of this team, you will collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers to deliver safety, security, and unlimited capacity at the lowest possible cost.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a category within the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) domains.
- Achieve cost savings through bidding and negotiations.
- Plan and execute effective negotiation strategies with vendors.
- Analyze category data and metrics to drive procurement category strategies.
- Understand trends in customers’ needs and concerns across categories and regions to influence customer priorities.
- Build strong relationships with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead supplier selection processes across multiple categories, internal teams, and regions; create longer‑term supplier selection strategies for management.
- Lead business reviews to discuss best practices and issues and ultimately improve supplier performance and strengthen business partnerships.
- Provide support throughout the contracting process and manage contracts post‑execution.
- 5+ years of procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations experience.
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing, including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, and operational and financial analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
- Experience in global supply chain management and managing cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- 4+ years of program, project, or product management, or leading product implementation processes.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.

Salary Range- USA, TX, Austin – $79,500.00 to $ USD annually
- USA, VA, Herndon – $79,500.00 to $ USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle – $82,700.00 to $ USD annually
