Perform front-line supervision of custodial employees. This position is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and safety in assigned areas, behaving in accordance with divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas of the facility.

Supervise janitorial staff during weekdays and on weekends.

Orient and train new employees.

Conduct proper floor care training and procedures.

Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, wall and window cleaning, and floor burnishing.

Establish staffing requirements daily.

Conduct physical inspections of assigned areas.

Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and stooping.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Mix cleaning solutions.

Maintain cleanliness of supply and utility rooms.

Assist in inventory control.

Prepare quality control and inspection reports.

Develop rapport with employees in the assigned building.

Required Qualifications

Experience in cleaning methods and equipment.
Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate strength.
Minimum two years of supervisory experience or equivalent experience as a lead worker or custodian with supervisory training.
Excellent communication skills.
