Data Center Design Engineering Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of the project/program. Oversee all aspects of projects/programs.
• Managing all aspects of project execution, including design development and construction administration processes, as well as expertise in implementing and optimizing project management platforms such as Smartsheet, Procore, etc., will be beneficial.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes the progress of the project/program.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of the project/program. Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

• Quantifiable project success metrics (design development, construction administration, project close out, budgeting, risk management, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with multiple project management platforms/tools
• Advanced construction administration experience
• History of progressive responsibility in the project manager and coordination
• Experience in strategic decision-making at the organizational level
• Evidence of team development and mentoring capabilities
• Experience in project reporting to direct managers and leadership

• Project Design and Construction Lifecycle Management expertise (end-to-end project execution and oversight)
• Team Management and Coordination (directing cross-functional teams and stakeholder management)
• Technical Proficiency (specifically in project management tools like Smartsheet, Procore, and construction/design development processes)

• Less than 7 years of relevant experience
• No leadership experience demonstrated
• Absence of construction/design development experience
• No experience with project management software tools
• Limited or no experience in preparing executive-level reports and recommendations
• Lack of evidence in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
