Your team must professionally maintain the physical operation of the hotel, including building structure, fixtures, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, water treatment, electrical systems, and grounds. It is your job to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable guest environment from a physical plant perspective, as well as a positive guest and employee experience.

  • Be a Leader – create an engaging environment where talented people want to join, learn, perform at their best, and advance. Lead a diverse, motivated team that is empowered and coached to deliver the ultimate guest experience.
  • Be an Expense Guru – set standards, policies, and procedures for the department, then monitor operational and financial performance. Participate in budgeting for the department and capital needs, including overseeing renovation bidding and contractor oversight if required. Proactively plan and forecast maintenance, staffing, and supply levels to minimize expenses while delivering an exceptional guest experience.
  • Be the Manager on Duty – if requested.
