Amazon seeks an experienced Global Environmental Waste Program Manager to lead waste initiatives across all AWS sites worldwide. The role involves strategic planning, risk management, implementation, and performance monitoring of the global waste program, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving circular economy practices.

• Lead and evolve the global waste program to meet organizational and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with environmental, operations, legal, policy, and sustainability teams to keep the program effective.
• Identify and assess environmental risks across the full AWS lifecycle, from equipment development to decommissioning.
• Develop and execute strategic plans addressing significant risks and opportunities.
• Oversee design and deployment of waste programs, ensuring compliance and driving circular economy initiatives.
• Lead training and awareness programs to embed environmental skills across the organization.
• Establish and manage robust monitoring, measurement, and reporting systems; analyze data and present findings to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement, implement corrective actions, and introduce innovative performance enhancements.

• 5+ years of program management or technical project management experience.

• Experience in program or project management.
