Position

Soleo Health is seeking a Full‑time Nurse Supervisor to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy and patients in the Herndon, VA and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients
  • Implementation and management of physician orders related to nursing
  • Selects, trains, develops and motivates a highly skilled professional and allied staff
  • Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, perform supervisory visits, participate in continuing education, receive counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner
  • Assures that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Assures that all patient related documentation is accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process
  • Participates in planning, decision‑making and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multidisciplinary team
  • Secures and maintains all applicable professional certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of the nursing staff and department
  • Coordination of patient care in conjunction with nurse scheduler and or clinical coordinator
  • Assures all nursing documentation is accounted for and billed in a timely manner
  • Promotes efficiency and productivity of nursing department in conjunction with nurse manager
  • Works closely with the Nurse Manager and Operations Manager to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems
  • Assures own professional growth and clinical competence
  • Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct
  • Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct
Schedule
  • Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5 pm – variable schedule
  • Must be available at all times during operating hours and for emergency situations
  • Must be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices: IV lines, accessing ports and administration of infusion medications
  • Must have at least one year of training and experience in direct health care service delivery with at least one year within the last five years of supervisory or administrative management experience in home health care or a related health program
  • Must be able to drive up to 1 hour one direction to see patients as needed (we offer mileage reimbursement and hourly rate of pay – even when driving!)
  • Must have a multistate RN license for the state of VA or willingness to obtain
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN, MSN preferred
  • Advanced certification in specialty areas of practice (e.g. CRNI, ONS, IgRN) preferred but not required
  • Valid state‑issued driver’s license with no significant restrictions
  • On‑Call Requirement:
    Participation in an on‑call rotation, nights and weekends included, providing as‑needed support outside of regular business hours
  • Administrative Oversight:
    Responsible for providing administrative oversight, including monitoring of workflows, ensuring compliance with policies, and managing resources efficiently
  • Emergency Availability:
    Must be available to respond promptly to emergencies, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • Minimum 2 years nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and/or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical care
  • Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience ideal
  • Clinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring skills and knowledge of all types of IV lines
