• Conduct comprehensive GYN assessments and exams
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic GYN conditions
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
• Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff
• Educate and counsel patients on women's health, prevention, and wellness

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• 3+ years of experience in Gynecology or Women’s Health (Required)
• Valid Commonwealth of Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
• Board Certified or Board eligible; if Board eligible, must meet certification requirements within one year of completing residency training program
• Current DEA certification

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized and able to handle conflicts and crisis professionally
• Knowledge of comprehensive health programs, public health principles, preventive care recommendations, clinical practice guidelines, and quality improvement
• Maintains complete confidentiality and exercises discretion
• Professionalism consistent with HW standards and policies regarding performance, behavior, and appearance
• Demonstrates flexibility, open mindedness, and versatility in adjusting to changing environments and requirements
• Committed to continually improving skills through educational opportunities
• Positive attitude when working with providers, clinical, and administrative staff; willing to assist provider as needed to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
