As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer you will interface daily with AWS Engineering teams, Procurement teams, and vendors to manage infrastructure equipment quality. You will lead internal and external engagements with engineering, procurement, supply chain management, operations, finance, construction, and suppliers to deliver robust and resilient quality systems.

• Develop, implement and maintain the Supplier Quality roadmap for complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure equipment to meet technical and quality requirements.
• Manage complete equipment lifecycle quality, working closely with suppliers, engineering, procurement and other internal stakeholders.
• Improve equipment quality by identifying and closing gaps through on‑site audits to ensure suppliers’ quality systems, products, and processes meet AWS Quality and product specification requirements.
• Drive Supplier Quality Improvement Programs and track supplier performance with key performance indicators.
• Develop critical‑to‑quality parameters, perform inspections and functional testing for complex equipment to ensure defect‑free, high‑quality equipment.
• Review historical failures, equipment design changes and lessons learned to update equipment technical specifications.
• Lead root cause analysis for complex electrical and mechanical equipment and critical components, working with suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
• Evaluate and validate root cause analysis reports from a technical perspective using critical thinking and quality principles.
• Develop new product and/or new supplier qualification plans, driving the quality program from prototyping to mass production for complex electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform data analysis on failures reported during the equipment lifecycle and create technical reports to provide design and specification improvement inputs.
• Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
• Demonstrate a can‑do attitude and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Provide 30‑50% international and domestic travel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years in a quality management function with direct interaction with suppliers.
• 8+ years in Electrical, Mechanical Product manufacturing, supplier quality.

• Experience with data center operations and infrastructure equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple qualification activities and development schedules.
