Switchgear Sales Engineer

Switchgear Sales Engineers play a critical role in supporting our sales operations by coordinating the ordering, delivery, and execution of project materials from start to finish. This is a customer-facing position that blends technical expertise with strong relationship management skills. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and to specification.

• Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and technical support
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure accurate material selection and execution
• Prepare and manage quotes, identifying opportunities to add value or recommend alternatives
• Coordinate material procurement from vendors and oversee delivery to warehouse and job sites
• Track and follow up on proposals, active projects, and customer inquiries
• Serve as a technical resource for team members on design and product-related questions
• Stay current on industry trends, new products, and obsolete equipment

• Background in Electrical Design or Engineering
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• 5+ years of industry experience, including switch gear sales and quoting

• Customer and vendor relationship management
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team collaboration
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Professionalism and credibility

• Primarily office-based with occasional time in a warehouse environment
• Work performed in both seated and standing positions throughout the day

$60,000 – $85,000 annually
